Jennifer Lopez Is Reportedly ‘On a Mission’ to Do This Revenge Plan Amid Alleged Split From Ben Affleck

Remember in 2023 when Jennifer Lopez was at the center of controversy after she released her alcohol line, Delola? The main issue was that she released an alcohol product despite being married to Ben Affleck, a recovering alcoholic. According to Affleck’s friends, this was the beginning of the end of their relationship.

Affleck’s friends revealed to DailyMail via OK that Lopez’s alcohol line was a major factor in their alleged divorce. They noted that it made him “sick,” adding, “Ben had to fight to get his life back after overcoming alcohol. Knowing how he lost everything, including the love of his family, knowing that he could possibly relapse, Jen decided to start her own spritzer line for more money, as if she did not have enough.”

They further stated, “This was one of the things that broke the camel’s back. But Ben saved his sobriety.”

Lopez’s alcohol business venture shocked many, especially since she has claimed she doesn’t even drink. It was also surprising because she allegedly set rules for how Affleck should drink socially. According to Affleck’s friends, this unusual business decision was the breaking point for Affleck, leading him to end their brief marriage.

Affleck has been very open about his past struggles with addiction. He first went to rehab in 2001 and battled with his addiction again during the 2010s. However, he has focused on staying sober and follows a twelve-step program.

For those who might not know, Lopez and Affleck fell in love on the set of the film Gigli. They appeared together in a few projects and got engaged by the end of 2002, according to People. In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before the ceremony due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, ultimately breaking up by 2004.

Fast forward to 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. However, breakup rumors have surrounded them as of July 2024.
