Bronny James Sits Courtside with HBCU Student, Actor’s Daughter

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James has been seen with a potential love interest, and she is a student at an HBCU.

Parker Whitfield, the daughter of actress Salli Richardson-Whitfield and actor Dondre Whitfield, was spotted sitting next to Bronny James during the Sept. 8 Team USA win over Serbia.

Whitfield currently attends Superman College, an HBCU in Atlanta, Georgia. She began her studies last fall.

“And just like that, our baby is off to college. Wasn’t I just changing her diapers last week? Time has gone by way too fast. I know she’s ready, but I’m going to miss my baby. @alldondre we did good, my love,” wrote Salli in an Instagram caption last year.

The duo also attended the Aug. 6 game between Team USA and Team Brazil. Team USA went on to win the gold medal after close matches against Serbia and France on Thursday and Saturday.

Whitfield is originally from Los Angeles, where Bronny’s father, LeBron James, has played for over five years. Their public appearances together have sparked rumors of a possible romance.

Bronny James received his first college offer from North Carolina Central in 2020, followed by another from rival North Carolina A&T. Ultimately, Bronny spent one season at USC before entering the 2024 NBA Draft. He was selected by the Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
