Brooke Schofield Returns to Tana Mongeau Podcast Amid Racist Tweet Controversy

TMZ.com

Brooke Schofield says she’s teaming back up with Tana Mongeau for their podcast after taking a hiatus following outrage over resurfaced racist social media posts.

We caught up with Brooke at the Montage in Beverly Hills on Thursday and she mentioned she was gearing up to film the ‘Cancelled’ podcast with Tana.

It’s quite a surprising return considering Tana had ditched Brooke just a few weeks ago after Brooke’s old racist posts came to light.

Cancelled

As previously reported, Tana expressed how she couldn’t imagine how Black fans or non-fans would feel about Brooke’s old posts. These posts were filled with homophobic slurs and support for George Zimmerman, the man who infamously shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin back in 2012.

Brooke had apologized for her past actions, but initially, it wasn’t enough to keep her on the podcast. Despite this, she’s returning and plans to discuss the whole controversy with Tana.

Many people weren’t satisfied with Brooke’s initial apology. However, she’s now telling her critics to back off.

Despite the backlash and the podcast’s temporary halt, Brooke feels she has been treated fairly in light of her old posts.

Bottom line, the duo is reuniting, and Brooke is not cancelled from ‘Cancelled.’
