Central US to face more severe weather and flash flooding on Sunday

A Tornado Watch has been issued in Texas as more dangerous storms are forecasted for Sunday across the southern U.S., following severe weather and flash flooding. The central U.S. is still recovering from damaging tornadoes that hit parts of the region on Friday and Saturday, including a deadly tornado outbreak in Oklahoma. Slow-moving storms have prompted Flash Flood Warnings in North Texas and surrounding areas, with severe weather expected to continue in East Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and southwestern Missouri. More than 42 million people are at risk for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding on Sunday, with the threat potentially lingering into Monday.
