Charli XCX Teases New Remix, Hints at More Surprises for ‘Brat’ Autumn

Charli XCX has been dominating the summer music scene with her albums Brat and its extension Brat And It’s The Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not. The popularity of Brat has even extended beyond her home country, influencing a presidential campaign in a foreign land.

However, Charli XCX seems to be gearing up for more.

On August 14, Charli XCX shared a TikTok video that featured a fan-created mash-up of her Brat track “360” with Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.” The video is captioned, “I’m in Poland… There’s a whiff of autumn in the breeze.. Something is shifting.” This subtle hint suggests that Brat summer may transition into Brat autumn. The caption further teases, “Maybe one more remix and then ?”

The last time Charli XCX made a similar move on social media, it led to the release of a “Guess” remix featuring Billie Eilish, along with a unique video where it’s raining panties. This remix was co-produced by Finneas and The Dare.

Previously, Charli XCX collaborated with Lorde on a revamped version of “Girl, So Confusing,” a remix that was famously well-received. Their effort was praised for its creative synergy.

Brat was released on June 7 and achieved considerable success, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Fans of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have more to look forward to, as their co-headlining Sweat tour is set to hit the US on September 14. The tour will visit renowned venues including New York City’s Madison Square Garden and will conclude in Seattle, Washington, on October 23.
