Clarks & ‘Stranger Things’ Return With Adult Collection Exclusively at Journeys

Clarks and Netflix have partnered once again to release a Clarks x “Stranger Things” adult collection, which will be available exclusively at Journeys starting on August 29. This collection draws inspiration from the hit Netflix series and its 1980s nostalgia, mirroring the children’s collection launched earlier this summer. Fans of the show will appreciate the homage to its beloved characters and era. The shoes will be offered globally in adult sizes on Journeys.com and in stores.

The adult collection features two primary designs that pay tribute to the Hawkins High School cast members and the infamous Hellfire Club. These shoes are crafted with premium, retro-colored materials and will be available in two distinct silhouettes: the Varsity Torhill and Wallabee Evo.

The Torhill sneaker celebrates the Hawkins High School’s team spirit with green and orange colors, “Stranger Things” embossed stamps, fobs, and a tiger print in honor of the school’s mascot. The sneaker also boasts premium leather uppers, breathable linings, and cushioned soles for added comfort.

This sneaker also includes a Stranger Things-inspired design element on sand suede uppers, featuring embroidered and screen-printed Hellfire and Hawkins High logos. The premium soles are complemented by Clarks Originals and Stranger Things-themed fobs.

Clarks has reimagined some of its most iconic silhouettes for this collection, including a new take on the renowned Wallabee Evo, featuring two unique designs for each profile. This reimagined Wallabee captures the essence of the Upside Down world and includes embroidery of the Hellfire Club’s logo and taglines. On one side, “We are nerds and freaks” is inscribed, while “Hellfire Club” adorns the sole.

This new collection includes sizes ranging from 7 to 13, with prices beginning at $120. The Clarks x Stranger Things collaboration with Journeys marks the launch of several upcoming collections that will be available at the retailer throughout the year.

Founded in Somerset, England in 1825 by brothers Cyrus and James Clark, Clarks began its journey with a sheepskin slipper. The brand has since become a staple in the footwear industry with iconic designs like the original Clarks Desert Boot, crafted by Nathan Clark in 1950, and the Wallabee, known for its distinctive shape.

Since its debut in 2016, “Stranger Things” has become one of Netflix’s most successful original series. Anticipation for the show’s fifth and final season remains high, evidencing the enduring popularity of the series. Earlier this month, the streaming service faced potential leaks of the upcoming season, highlighting the fervor surrounding new episodes. Production for Season Five began in January, with the show expected to return in 2025.
