Columbia campus protester issues apology for controversial ‘kill Zionists’ remarks

A leader of students protesting the war in Gaza at Columbia University apologized for saying “Zionists don’t deserve to live”. Khymani James, 20, stated he misspoke in the heat of the moment. The White House condemned his remarks. Protests spread to other US campuses. US universities are being urged to divest from companies supporting Israel’s war in Gaza.
