Columbia students lodge civil rights complaint against school in response to protests. Here are the allegations.

A group of Columbia University students filed a federal civil rights complaint against the school, alleging discrimination against Palestinian students and protesters. The complaint was filed by Palestine Legal on behalf of four students and a student group. The university is accused of anti-Palestinian discrimination and harassment, including arrests of protesters. Columbia University President set a deadline for protesters to clear their encampment. Pro-Israel students feel unsafe due to threats and antisemitic chants by pro-Palestinian demonstrators. Rep. Ilhan Omar visited the protesters, expressing support for their cause. Encampments and protests are also happening at other colleges in New York and New Jersey.
