Congress Questions Public School District Leaders on Antisemitism Policies: Watch Live

Leaders of large U.S. public school districts are being questioned by a House panel about incidents of antisemitism. The House education subcommittee called on leaders from Berkeley, New York City, and Montgomery County to testify. Antisemitic incidents have increased in schools following a Hamas attack. Complaints have been made about the handling of these incidents in each school district, with allegations of harassment and discrimination. The districts have policies on religious diversity, but complaints have been filed against them. The leaders are called to testify voluntarily, with one district acknowledging the invitation. NYC also faces a civil rights complaint for failing to address antisemitism.
