Court Grants Extradition of Honduran Victor Viera Chirinos

In Tegucigalpa, Honduras, a natural judge has granted the extradition of Victor Viera Chirinos, who is accused by the court of the Northern District of California of crimes related to drug trafficking. Today, a hearing was held to present evidence against Viera Chirinos, also known as “Mojarra”.

Victor Viera Chirinos was captured on March 6, 2024, in Guayape, Olancho. He is accused of being involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics, allegedly linked to a criminal organization that distributed drugs in various countries, including the United States.

On February 22, 2024, Mayer Banegas, Jorge Alberto Viera Chirinos, and Elmer Bonilla Matute were also extradited after being captured in different locations in Honduras, further connecting Víctor to this group.
