Cristiano Ronaldo Supports Kylian Mbappé for Ballon d’Or Victory

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his belief that Kylian Mbappé will thrive at Real Madrid and has predicted that the French international may soon claim a Ballon d’Or award.

In a recent discussion on his YouTube channel, Ronaldo referred to Real Madrid as the “best club ever,” suggesting that this prestige will aid Mbappé’s success.

“I think [Mbappé] will do well. The structure of the club is nice and good,” he remarked.

“They have an excellent coach and a long-standing president, Florentino Pérez. His talent will ensure that it won’t be a significant challenge. Mbappé could become the next Ballon d’Or winner, along with players like [Erling] Haaland, [Jude] Bellingham, and Lamine [Yamal].”

Ronaldo highlighted Real Madrid’s resilience, stating, “Madrid is the kind of team that doesn’t buckle under pressure. People often claim they are lucky in the Champions League, but that’s not the case. They are well-prepared for these pivotal moments. The Bernabéu stadium has a unique aura.”

When discussing whether Madrid could improve this season, Ronaldo acknowledged the uncertainty, saying, “Now, whether Madrid will be better or not is something we don’t know. Mbappé is there now, and I believe Madrid will remain strong, but whether they will surpass last year’s performance is uncertain. Only God knows.”

Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has noted that the team is still adjusting to incorporating Mbappé into their setup. In a recent match against Real Betis, Mbappé demonstrated his growing adaptation by scoring two goals right before the international break.

The team’s current performance shows two wins and two draws from their initial four matches this season. They currently find themselves trailing rivals Barcelona by four points in the La Liga standings.
