D.C. Police initiate removal of GWU protest camp

D.C. police cleared a pro-Palestinian encampment at George Washington University and made arrests before a hearing on their inaction. The encampment had grown and become volatile according to police spokesman Thomas Lynch. Demonstrators had marched to the university president’s residence the night before.
