The country is divided over whether he is being treated more harshly or leniently. Only 44% of Americans have confidence in the jury selected for the case, with 56% feeling skeptical about a fair outcome. A majority view Trump’s behavior during the trial as inappropriate, with about a third undecided. The poll was conducted after the trial’s jury selection began on April 15.
