Day 8 of Trump’s New York trial: David Pecker’s cross-examination drags on

Former AMI CEO David Pecker revealed in court that former President Trump had an agreement with Stormy Daniels, where she would have to pay a $1 million penalty every time she mentioned his name. Evidence presented included a Wall Street Journal article about Michael Cohen’s payment to Daniels. Pecker recalled Trump getting upset after an interview between Karen McDougal and Anderson Cooper, during which Trump called to express his displeasure. McDougal later filed a lawsuit against AMI to be released from a non-disclosure agreement, which was settled. Pecker also mentioned Trump’s concern about McDougal’s contract and potential penalties for Stormy Daniels breaking their agreement.
