After falling for each other on The Golden Bachelor, Gerry and Theresa tied the knot in a whirlwind romance. However, their marriage quickly unraveled, leading them to announce their split on morning television only three months post-wedding.

Despite the split, they will reunite on the game show along with their former blended family of adult children, competing against other Bachelor Nation couples on the popular ABC show.

According to Life & Style, the episode was filmed on April 7, just a week before Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce. Avid fans of Bachelor Nation will likely watch closely to see if there were any signs of the impending breakup.

The reason behind Gerry and Theresa’s split was a disagreement regarding where to live. Neither was willing to relocate away from their families, and they could not find a compromise.

“Wait until you see how cute Joey & Kelsey, Charity & Dotun, and [Kaity] & Zach look this Tuesday, July 16th,” she captioned one of the pictures, completely omitting any reference to Gerry in her promotion.

Bachelor Nation fans also shared their thoughts on the upcoming episode on Reddit. Instead of focusing on Gerry and Theresa, many fans made snarky comments about Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson’s potential in the game.

One fan commented, “Hopefully the BN team isn’t counting on Joey (can’t name RBG) and Kelsey (can’t name the US VP) to be helpful.”
