The actress Elizabeth Gutierrez made a public appearance at the New You Beauty Awards in Miami over the weekend, following her recent split from actor William Levy.
She was spotted on the red carpet of the event, wearing a white dress that she and her stylist Claudia Zuleta designed together, as reported by People in Spanish.
On April 9, Elizabeth Gutierrez and William Levy announced the end of their relationship after being together for two decades on and off. The news was confirmed by the Mexican actress and presenter during an interview with Hello USA, where she revealed that she is no longer with the Cuban actor, who is also the father of her two children.
In her own words, Elizabeth said, “I always believed in our relationship. William was the love of my life and I always wanted to show the world what we had, as we shared many beautiful moments during our 20 years together. But now, we are no longer together,” she emotionally shared, reminiscing about a family trip to Spain they took towards the end of 2023.
In response to the media attention following Elizabeth’s statement, William Levy took to his Instagram account to share a series of messages. One particular post showed him posing with a serious expression, with the caption, “It’s just a matter of time.”
Subsequently, in his Instagram stories, Levy’s cryptic messages further fueled speculation about the state of their relationship post-breakup. “I have many things to say and my side of the story, but I would never do anything to hurt the mother of my children,” the Cuban heartthrob wrote.
