Emma Roberts, Nicky Hilton & Others at Brunello Cucinelli Dinner in the Hamptons

At this point in the summer, most classic Hamptons venues have already hosted numerous sunset cocktails and dinner parties. However, as guests meandered past horse stables and tennis courts to one of the Wölffer family’s private homes, the setting felt like a refreshing discovery.

This particular house, owned by Marc Wölffer, was chosen as the venue for a dinner organized by the winery and Brunello Cucinelli to celebrate the summer season.

Joey Wölffer, the chief brand officer and co-owner of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, revealed that earlier in the year she made a list of dream brands she’d love to collaborate with, and Brunello Cucinelli was at the top of that list.

“They’re a family-owned brand, they have a really strong sense of authenticity, and I think that’s really important when planning these events,” Wölffer shared before the dinner began.

The event was attended by several Hamptons party circuit regulars, including Emma Roberts, who was there with her new fiancé, Cody John; Nicky Hilton; Katie Couric; Molly Sims; Tracy Anderson; Rachel Zoe; and Nacho Figueras. Alina Cho, Deborra-Lee Furness, Ivan Pol, James Turlington, Kate and Kevin Love, Tamu McPherson, and Micaela Erlanger also graced the occasion, as did Massimo Caronna, the president and CEO for Brunello Cucinelli in North America.

Guests were greeted with the opportunity for a photo op in front of one of the home’s many large white hydrangea bushes. Rachel Zoe, standing next to Delfina Figueras, humorously asked the photographer for an apple box after noticing their height difference.

With glasses of sangria or sparkling rosé in hand, the beige-clad crowd mingled around the pool house, where Brunello Cucinelli home decor was tastefully displayed.

This event marked the first Hamptons visit for Alessio Piastrelli, Brunello Cucinelli’s son-in-law, who attended on behalf of the family.

“I hope we impress you. It always looks like this,” Wölffer joked to Piastrelli, referring to the perfectly temperate summer evening unfolding around them.

An Italian antipasto course featuring marinated artichokes, fried sage leaves, olives, and cured meats was served as the guests gathered around a long table.

At one point, Caronna stood to address the crowd. “Life is about synchronicity, life is about connecting, and life is about love and happiness, and that’s what we are celebrating tonight,” he said. “Celebrate life, celebrate health, and all the good things coming towards us.”
