Everyone Eminem Named on “The Death of Slim Shady” Album

Eminem is back in his element with his new album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). Released on July 12, the latest LP from the rap legend is packed with an abundance of name-drops featuring fellow rappers and numerous public figures.

Slim Shady, known for his unfiltered remarks about celebrities and even peers in the rap industry, hasn’t held back on this album either. From mentioning his children to making jokes about the late actor Christopher Reeve, Eminem covers a broad spectrum of references. Several notable names, including Ja Rule, Diddy, and conservative commentator Candace Owens, get called out. Owens, who is mentioned disparagingly in the track “Lucifer,” has since responded during an interview on TMZ.

“I could not have laughed harder when somebody sent this to me,” Owens stated in the interview. “I just think it is so lame. He has now cemented himself as a lame person. This reeks of his—I’m calling this now his Hillary Clinton hot sauce moment. Like, he’s just so desperate to show Black people that he’s real.”
