Fifth Member of Anti-Government Group Charged by Oklahoma Prosecutors in Kansas Women’s Murders

Paul Jeremiah Grice, 31, was charged in Texas County, Oklahoma with killing and kidnapping two Kansas women, Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39. He admitted to participating in their killings. Grice is being held without bond. Four others have also been charged: Tifany Adams, her boyfriend Tad Cullum, Cole Twombly, and Cora Twombly. The victims disappeared while driving to a birthday party, with Adams being in a custody dispute with Butler. The suspects were part of an anti-government group called “God’s Misfits” with religious affiliations. Meetings were held at the suspects’ homes.
