Five people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Pearblossom Highway in the Antelope Valley. The crash occurred on State Route 138 at 106th Street East in the Little Rock area late Sunday night. First responders found a Toyota flipped onto its roof and a Mitsubishi on its side on the shoulder of the road. Both drivers and three passengers in one vehicle were killed. The victims’ ages and genders were not immediately known. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and a Sigalert for lane closures was lifted early Monday morning. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is mourning the loss of a longtime deputy.
