Former CEO of Slack’s adolescent child found safe after running away, according to authorities

The teenage child of former Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield, Mint Butterfield, who ran away from home has been safely located in San Francisco. Mint was found in a white van belonging to Christopher “Kio” Dizefalo, who was considered as an “adult friend” of Mint. Dizefalo was arrested on suspicion of several criminal violations. Mint voluntarily ran away from home and was confirmed unharmed. Efforts to locate Mint were ongoing due to being listed as an at-risk missing person. Mint has been reunited with their family, as announced by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.
