Former Secret Service officer sues Dallas for $1M over alleged gender bias while assigned to Kamala Harris and engaging in altercation with colleagues

A Secret Service officer assigned to protect Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from duty after getting into a brawl with colleagues. Michelle Herczeg previously filed a $1 million gender discrimination lawsuit against the city of Dallas while working as a police officer. In her 2016 lawsuit, Herczeg claimed she was targeted for being a female officer. She displayed erratic behavior and assaulted a superior officer while on duty. Herczeg had a history of reporting sexual harassment and mistreatment within the police department. Herczeg’s lawsuit was dismissed by a Texas court in 2021.
