Former Trump chief of staff in Arizona faces charges in fake elector case

The chief of staff for former President Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, has been served with conspiracy, fraud, and forgery charges in Arizona’s fake elector case. This comes after indictments were made against other defendants last week. Meadows was identified in the document but had not been served until now. Arizona becomes the fourth state where Trump allies have been charged with voter fraud claims. Notably, Rudy Giuliani has not been charged yet. Trump himself is referred to as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case. The defendants include 11 Arizona Republicans who falsely declared that Trump won in the state.
