‘Frozen 3’ Scheduled for Thanksgiving 2027 Release

“Frozen 3” will glide into theaters in time for Thanksgiving… of 2027.

The third installment of the Arendelle-set animated adventure has been officially scheduled for release on November 24, 2027. The previous “Frozen” movies also premiered around Thanksgiving, quickly becoming $1 billion blockbusters.

Disney has also slated a new Pixar movie, “Hoppers,” to hit screens on March 6, 2026. This film will star Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan, who will voice characters in a body-swap comedy about a young girl who uses technology to understand what animals are saying.

The original “Frozen” movie, released in 2013, became a tremendous success, grossing nearly $1.3 billion worldwide and winning multiple awards, including two Oscars. Its sequel, released in 2019, achieved even greater commercial success, earning $1.45 billion. Until recently, it held the title of the highest-grossing animated film in history.

The movies follow the adventures of royal sisters Anna and Elsa, voiced by Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. They also produced some incredibly popular songs like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” Additionally, the franchise extended its reach to Broadway with a successful musical adaptation.
