An appeals court in Georgia has agreed to review former President Donald Trump’s appeal of a ruling that allowed prosecutor Fani Willis to remain on the election interference case against him. This move could significantly delay the case. Trump’s attorney looks forward to presenting arguments as to why the case should be dismissed and Willis disqualified. The Fulton County DA’s office declined to comment. Last August, Trump and 18 others pleaded not guilty to charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. Trump has criticized the investigation as politically motivated.
