“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” Premiere Details Revealed: Find out where to watch and when it premieres on streaming platforms

After its release in theaters, one of the next steps for the fifth ‘Ghostbusters’ film will be streaming. There has been a lot of rain since the release of ‘Ghostbusters’ in 1984. Although many have stuck with the first two films and have not wanted to know too much about the future of the saga, the truth is that The franchise already has up to five films in which different adventures have been explored with a good variety of characters.

The latest film to arrive has been ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’, which It premiered in theaters on March 22. Since then, although we must take into account that with the passage of time it will generate more income, the box office collection does not seem to give good expectations in its first weeks of release and the film has not managed to resonate with the American public.

That is why, with the recent release in movie theaters, it may have a good second chance in digital format. But when will it arrive in streaming in subscription or rental and purchase formats? Let’s clear up the doubts a little.

When and where we can see ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ on streaming platforms. First of all, we must keep in mind that ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ is a film produced by Columbia Pictures, a Sony Pictures company, so we are not dealing with a company that has its own streaming platform. With other releases, Sony films have ended up on different platforms, usually Netflix and Prime Video.

‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ is currently on Prime Video, but this It does not mean that Frozen Empire will also end up on the Amazon platform, although that could well be the case. Most likely, it will finally be released on Netflix or Prime Video, but for now we have to wait a little time to clear up any doubts.

What about its premiere in rental and purchase format? Considering that just over three weeks have passed since its theatrical release, we will still have to wait a few weeks to find out more details about it, so we will update the article as soon as we know more details.

‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ is directed by Gil Kenan and reunites the characters from some of the previous films —both the originals and the most recent—, so we once again see Bill Murray, Paul Rudd, and Finn Wolfhard, among others, sharing the screen. This last movie seemed to return again to the origins of the saga providing both new and classic elements, maintaining the characters but offering a show both for those who have joined the saga with the latest films and for those who have been in it since its beginnings.

As Jorge Loser states in Espinof’s review, ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ is a new chapter of the saga correct, friendly, and harmless which unfortunately falls a bit lame when it comes to resolving the expectations that it generates during the film.
