On April 14, 2024 at 13:50, a tragic incident occurred where an influencer, Inessa Polenko from Russia, lost her life after falling from a 50-meter deep cliff while attempting to take a selfie at the Gagry viewpoint in Abkhazia. Her companion witnessed the fall and immediately called for help. Emergency teams rushed her to Gagry District Hospital, but unfortunately, due to the severity of the impact, she did not survive.
