Iowa man succumbs to injuries following Minden tornado strike

A man who was injured during a tornado in Minden, Iowa, has died, as confirmed by family members. The tornado caused significant damage, with approximately half of the town destroyed. Emergency responders worked to remove debris and address the destruction caused by the storm. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds visited the area and implemented emergency policies to provide assistance to the affected community. The tornado broke gas lines, caused gas leaks, and downed power lines. Three individuals were injured, treated, and released. The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office estimated that 40 to 50 homes were destroyed. The town remains under a curfew until further notice.
