Israeli fighter jets recently launched attacks on buildings in southern Lebanon that were reportedly used by Hezbollah, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Specific targets were identified in the villages of Markaba and Majdal Zoun.
In addition to the airstrikes, the IDF also conducted artillery shelling in the vicinity of Jabal Blat. The Israeli military stated that these actions were taken to eliminate a perceived threat. In a separate incident, five rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the Hanita area.
The IDF confirmed that the rockets landed in uninhabited areas, resulting in no injuries. Following the rocket attacks, the Israeli troops proceeded to target the locations from which the rockets were launched.
