Janelle Monáe Stuns in Red Bikini on Yacht During Italian Summer Getaway

Janelle Monáe was red hot as she modeled a sexy, string bikini in new snaps.

On Sunday, the 38-year-old singer-songwriter took a break from living it up in Italy to share several jaw-dropping photos of herself modeling a swimsuit and posing on a yacht.

She shared a series of snaps of herself soaking up the sun on a boat with the stunning view of the picturesque town behind her.

The rapper — who deleted a controversial video she shared of herself recreating Michael Jackson’s infamous baby-dangling incident after receiving backlash for it last month — also posted a short clip of herself lounging on the boat and making deliberately demure expressions as she showcased her incredible figure.

In her caption of her Instagram reel, she continued her vacation photo essay series with a short journal entry from her Jane Bond alter ego, the heroine counterpart to James Bond.

She penned: ‘I decided to take one last ride on my target’s boat… I thought it’d be a kind gesture to invite his mistress to join for helping me take him down.’

She continued in the caption of her carousel post: ‘My target hired a private investigator to take these of me.’

‘I found them in a slightly bent faint coffee stained manila envelope on his nightstand,’ she added. ‘Naturally, I decided to turn them into summer postcards.’

‘From me to you with love,’ she wrote as she signed off with her nickname Jane and a kiss emoji.

In her posts from her European getaway, the 10-time Grammy nominee could be seen wearing a tiny, triangle bikini top with the matching cheeky bottoms. She went for a monochromatic crimson look as she wrapped a silk bandana with red details around her head and rocked a bold, bright lip color.

While enjoying a sun-drenched escape, the I Like That hitmaker was seen adjusting her bandana, posing sultrily, and channeling the nostalgic, retro vibes of the ’60s. She also set her Instagram clip to Nancy Sinatra’s 1967 hit You Only Live Twice — the title track for the James Bond film of the same name, which starred Sean Connery.

In her comments section, many of her fans speculated that she would either be the next iteration of James Bond or be the next Bond girl.

Prior to serving up red hot looks in Italy, Monáe shared a post of herself wearing a gold bikini in Greece. The star, who is frequently seen sticking to a black, white, and red color palette in her outfits, went for a playful caption for that post.

She wrote: ‘Currently hatching my eggs in the middle of the Aegean Sea.’

On August 10, she also shared a video of herself in another red string bikini, sporting a nautical captain hat and checking out the scene with a pair of binoculars. With dramatic 007 music playing in the background, she captioned her post: ‘My target has been located. Revenge is a tasty thing.’

As part of her ongoing photo essay series, she wrote James Bond-inspired diary entries in her captions and signed off as Jane Bond. In her reel, she showed off not only her style but also her range as well as her incredible physique.

She shared a clip of herself sitting alone at a café table and sipping a glass of red wine while appearing deep in thought. ‘Waiting on my target to arrive… he’s stuck in customs with his mistress…,’ she wrote three days earlier.

Last month, Monáe faced backlash after posting a controversial video of herself recreating the King of Pop’s infamous baby-dangling incident. She was criticized for holding a robotic dog over the balcony of her hotel, much like how the late music legend gave the world a first glimpse of his son, Bigi, formerly known as Blanket, in 2002.

Many found the parody video offensive as Jackson, who died at age 50 in 2009, was at a ‘low point’ in his life when he famously dangled his baby out the window from his fourth-floor hotel room.

Monáe did not specify why she deleted the video and has not yet addressed the controversy.
