Jason Kelce Reportedly Enthusiastic About ‘DWTS’ Season 33

The official cast list for “Dancing With The Stars” Season 33 isn’t out yet. However, Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce reportedly received an invite to compete and feels excited about the opportunity.

Having a Kelce brother on the show would certainly draw in viewers and boost ratings. But can “Dancing With The Stars” make it happen?

After months of speculation, new rumors indicate that Jason Kelce is indeed interested in joining “Dancing With The Stars.” According to “The Sun,” he’s thrilled to have the invite.

“He wants to show his dancing skills,” an insider close to the Kelces reportedly told the publication. If there weren’t any barriers, he would happily accept the invite. However, he has a pretty full fall schedule and isn’t completely certain he can make the commitment to “DWTS.”

“He will have to figure out his schedule, but he’s enthusiastic,” the source said, saying Kelce would decide very soon.

The upcoming NFL season kicks two weeks before the “DWTS” season premiere. Although he’s retired, Jason Kelce is going to have a role on ESPN’s Monday Night Football. Many people wouldn’t be able to handle the schedule. But Kelce isn’t any ordinary man.

“He looks forward to being on TV when the NFL season starts. But he also wants to do multiple things and loves TV shows,” the insider continued. “He’s been asked to appear on plenty of shows in the last few months, and he is really interested in being on some of them. Jason is sure to have fun on “Dancing With The Stars” and hopes it will work out in the coming season.”

The pro dancers are always excited to learn more about their dance partners for the upcoming year. If Jason Kelce does join, Jenna Johnson already called dibs on him.

“He just retired. I think it’s the perfect thing. If his wife wants to do it with Val [Chmerkovskiy], we could definitely do that,” the 30-year-old dancer told “PEOPLE.” “I know that he has some kids, so we could bond over parenting and stuff.”

The final say on partnerships is up to the executive team and is based on a wide variety of factors. But considering Jenna’s popularity with viewers, she may very well get her way.
