Jeannie Mai’s Post Reveals Mother-Daughter Bond Between Her Mom and Monaco

Jeannie Mai, her mother Mama Mai, and her daughter Monaco make the cutest trio. This post highlights the sweet bond between Mama Mai and Monaco!

On July 12, Mai shared a series of heart-warming videos and photos. The clips feature her, her mother, and her daughter. Her caption read, “Happy Birthday to the 🐐!! The OG of joy, the Queen to us Capricorns, @themamamai. Life would be black and white without you. Proud to grace the cover of @modernparentingph with you and honored to watch you light up my @monacomaijenkins eyes the way only you can do 💜💜 Please join me in wishing @themamamai that day 1 love!!! 🎂“

In the first two photos, we see Mama Mai, Jeannie, and Monaco smiling from ear to ear as they cuddle together for the cover of Modern Parenting. There’s also an ultra-stylish clip of Jeannie and Mama Mai. Then, we see a truly adorable video of Mama and Monaco dancing on a plane, with Mama giving Monaco her headphones so she can dance along. It’s incredibly cute, and everyone is smiling in the video. There is also a clip of Mama and Monaco gleefully playing hide’n’seek in a hotel room.

Another video shows Monaco and Mama Mai playing in the water, and a hysterical photo captures the two in the pool, with Mama Mai’s false eyelash literally falling from her eye. (We’ve all been there!)

For those who don’t know, in January 2022, Mai and her ex-husband Jeezy welcomed their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins into the world.

The Real alum wrote on Instagram in celebration of Mother’s Day 2023, sharing, “Ever since we had Monaco, I see baby pictures of myself and Mama Mai with completely different eyes. My mother always said, ‘I am the root, my kids is the tree.’ Navigating motherhood today, I understand the depth of her words. From my brother’s unwavering support, to the incredible grandparents who raised us, we form a tapestry of interconnected branches nurturing lil Monaco 🥹“

She concluded lovingly, “On this Mother’s Day, I am so thankful for the roots that ground us and the bonds that help my mom journey be the healthiest it can be 🌳🌳.”
