Jelly Roll’s Wife Bunnie XO Riles Fans with Spot-On Teen Life Video

Jelly Roll‘s wife, Bunnie Xo, and daughter, Bailee Ann, are gaining attention online for their spot-on portrayal of life with teenagers.

The duo showcased their acting skills in a video uploaded to the Dumb Blonde podcast host’s Instagram on Monday, Aug. 12. In the post, Bunnie, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, was the first to appear, with text on the screen reading: “Raising a teen be like..”

Dressed casually with a bowl of salad on the counter in front of her and a fork in hand, Bunnie pretended to scold her stepdaughter as Billy Joel‘s 1978 hit “My Life” played in the background.

“You need to get your shit together,” she mouthed to Bailee, pointing the fork in her direction before The Piano Man started singing.

“I don’t care what you say anymore, this is my life,” Bailee, 16, lip-synced in response while hopping into the frame and crawling across the counter.

The clip then cut to a few seconds of the teen as she danced to the beat of the song behind her stepmom—who looked less than impressed—before picking back up with the lyrics and a dramatic routine in the living room. As she slid toward the camera, Bailee belted out, “Go ahead with your own life; leave me alone!”

Fans couldn’t help but chuckle over the performance, with many parents agreeing it was “so real” and a “too accurate” depiction of the relationship they have with their kids.

“Been through 3 of ’em. What a trip!” another exclaimed.

“POV: My 7 year old,” someone else joked, adding a melting face emoji.

“It’s fun right!?” a different Instagram user asked. “Remind me we’re having fun,” they added with a laughing emoji.

Meanwhile, others couldn’t get over how much Bailee resembled her father, with one top-liked comment suggesting, “She definitely look[s] like Jelly Roll.”

Along with Bailee, the country crooner is also the father of a young son named Noah Buddy. Though the “Son of a Sinner” artist and Bunnie don’t currently share any biological children of their own, the couple has recently opened up about their plans to expand their family, their experience with IVF, and exploring options for surrogacy.
