Jessica Alba Embraces Pointed-Pumps Trend in NYC

Jessica Alba sported a fashionable look in pumps while out and about in New York City on Monday. The actress’ visit to the big apple revolved around her Honest lifestyle brand but she also stopped for an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

The Honey star wore a monochromatic black outfit that consisted of a black dressy tank and loose black dress pants for a dressy-yet-comfortable look. Alba chose a pair of pumps that were made with patent leather material and characterized by an emphasized pointed triangular design. The pumps were rounded out by a slender stiletto heel that measured in-between 3-to-4 inches in height. As far as the rest of her ensemble goes, the “Trigger Warning” actress kept things casual and simple with a small black purse.

While the style has experienced some updates over the decades, pointed-toe pumps are a classic model that has been preferred by many celebrities for various events including Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Princess Beatrice, Doja Cat and plenty of others. Regarded for their comfort and versatility in-terms of blending together elements of modern and vintage fashion elements. Many brands such as Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season, which can be found within their many collections over the course of the year.

Alba, herself, prefers a range of pumps and strappy sandals within her wardrobe. For an appearance on “The View” in June, the actress was spotted in a pair of patent leather beige pumps by Jimmy Choo that were designed in the classic Love silhouette with a thin stiletto heel several inches off the ground and a sharp pointed toe. A couple of days before that, she was spotted walking around the city in pumps that were rounded out by a slender stiletto heel measuring roughly 3.5 inches in height.

Alba has had an eventful year with the release of her newest film on Netflix “Trigger Warning,” which was her first film since 2019.
