Joe Rogan’s Texas Stand-Up Special to Stream Live on Netflix

Joe Rogan’s first stand-up special in six years is set to be filmed in Texas.

Although Joe Rogan’s San Antonio show on August 3rd is completely sold out, fans need not worry. They can still catch the performance live on Netflix along with the rest of the audience. Netflix revealed that this will be their third live stand-up special, following live shows from Chris Rock and John Mulaney.

This marks Joe Rogan’s return to the stand-up scene after his 2018 special, “Strange Times.” For those eager to see Joe Rogan in person, he’s also performing at the same venue the previous night, and tickets for that show are still available. While it won’t be a ‘live’ event in the traditional sense, Rogan will take the stage at 7 PM, with the Netflix stream commencing at 9 PM.

The Majestic Theatre, where Rogan will be performing, holds significant importance in Texas history. Constructed in 1929, it was the first venue in Texas to feature full air conditioning, making it a popular escape from the heat in its early days. Recognized in 1993 as a National Historic Landmark, the Majestic continues to be one of the finest examples of atmospheric theatres ever built. Attendees are in for an exceptional night, but those who couldn’t secure tickets can still enjoy the show by tuning in to Netflix.
