'Jurassic World 4' Renamed 'Jurassic World Rebirth'

August 29 (UPI) — Universal Pictures has announced the title and plot details for the fourth installment in the Jurassic World franchise. Titled Jurassic World Rebirth, the film is set to hit theaters in July 2025.

Taking place five years after the events of 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion, Jurassic World Rebirth introduces Scarlett Johansson in the role of Zora Bennett. Bennett leads a team tasked with extracting DNA samples from three of the largest dinosaur species. During their mission, they encounter a family whose boating trip has been disrupted by aquatic dinosaurs.

Mahershala Ali joins the cast as Duncan Kincaid, Bennett’s most trusted associate. Playing the role of paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis is Jonathan Bailey. Manuel Garcia-Rufio takes on the role of Reuben Delgado, the father of the troubled family, with Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Audrina Miranda portraying his family members.

The film also features Rupert Friend as Martin Krebs, a representative from a major pharmaceutical company. Additionally, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein are included in the cast.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Jurassic World Rebirth has a screenplay penned by David Koepp, who adapted the original Jurassic Park.
