Kagurabachi Creator’s First Public Appearance Goes Viral

Kagurabachi is nearing its one-year anniversary and has seized the spotlight once again. In September of last year, Takeru Hokazono introduced Chihiro Rokuhira, captivating readers worldwide. Kagurabachi has swiftly risen to become one of Shueisha’s most celebrated series, and now, it’s garnering even more attention as Hokazono has made his first public appearance.

During Japan Expo in Europe, Hokazono’s appearance generated significant excitement. Shueisha announced that he would be part of a special panel, and true to the hype, Hokazono greeted his fans via video, sending the fanbase into a frenzy.

The creator appeared with a fox mask, keeping his features hidden. However, fans noted a few interesting details. Hokazono features hair and earrings similar to the character Hiyuki. A glimpse of the background in his video revealed his manga library, boasting titles like Bleach, Naruto, and My Hero Academia.

Hokazono is comfortably establishing himself as a popular manga creator. Even before Kagurabachi officially debuted, the series had already gone viral, generating countless memes. Once the series was released, its gripping action sequences and impressive artwork solidified its place as a significant success. Kagurabachi, with its several volumes, is paving the way for a new generation of Shonen Jump series. Given its popularity, fans can anticipate more public appearances by Hokazono in the future.

If you’re curious about Kagurabachi, here’s a brief overview: “Young Chihiro spends his days training under his renowned swordsmith father. Aspiring to become a great sword-maker himself, Chihiro believes these days of training will last forever. However, tragedy strikes, leading to a dark day soaked in blood. Now, with his blade, Chihiro lives solely for revenge. Prepare for epic sword battle action!”
