Royal enthusiasts got a glimpse of this camaraderie in 2019, during the Garter Day ceremony at Windsor Castle. At this grand event, Letizia and her husband, King Felipe, were in attendance. Observers couldn’t help but notice the warm interaction between Catherine and Letizia, who exchanged smiles and laughs, even while respecting the formality of the occasion. Their similar black and white outfits only underscored their rapport, making them appear like two peas in a pod.

While the Garter Day ceremony was significant in showcasing Catherine and Letizia’s friendship, it also served a more substantial purpose: strengthening Britain’s relationship with the Spanish royal family.
