Kirsten Dunst Relives “Bring It On” Days in a Fun Throwback Moment

Who doesn’t love a good throwback moment? Apparently, Kirsten Dunst does too. The star decided to crash Cinespia’s “Kristen Dunst Slumber Party,” celebrating the 25th anniversary of Bring It On and The Virgin Suicides.

The 2000 hit movie Bring It On, directed by Peyton Reed, focuses on a champion high school cheerleading squad that discovers their previous captain stole all their best routines from another school, which leaves them scrambling to create new routines before the championship competitions.

In the film, Dunst plays cheerleader Torrance Shipman. One of the most memorable scenes in the film is when the squad does a roll call, and each cheerleader has a cute saying. In a video captured on Instagram, viewers can see Kirsten Dunst watching the film and cheering along with her cheer squad in the film.

The group chants, “Hate us because we are beautiful, but we don’t like you either; we are cheerleaders. We are cheerleaders, roll call!” As the scene progresses to Kirsten Dunst’s part, you can hear the actress smile and utter, “Uh-oh.”

Dunst decided to surprise her fans after the film, greeting them and quoting her chant from Bring It On. She chants, “I’m T-T-Torrance, your captain Torrance…let’s go, Toros!” The crowd erupted into excited cheers.

From there, she said, “Oh my God, you guys. This is the craziest thing I have ever witnessed in my life.” She added, “I am so overwhelmed. My friends and family are here; I’m gonna watch with you guys. I haven’t seen any of these movies since I was a teen myself, with an audience I am so honored.”

We feel the fans were just as honored by her presence as well!
