Kourtney Kardashian’s Son Mason Called Her from Roadside with a Broken Arm

Kourtney Kardashian faced a challenging moment as a mom on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.” The 45-year-old reality star, who welcomed her son Rocky Thirteen in November 2023 with husband Travis Barker, discussed spending 40 days at home in her newborn bubble with baby Rocky.

However, on the 40th day, Kourtney received an unexpected wake-up call. She shared, “Mason broke his arm right when it turned 40 days. I felt like God was saying, ‘Your 40 days are up. Get your a** out of the house.'” Mason, her firstborn son with ex Scott Disick, called her saying, “Mom, I’m on the side of the road. I broke my arm!”

Kourtney immediately took Mason to the hospital, ensuring to send pumped milk back home to Rocky. She explained, “I didn’t even have any saved milk because I don’t leave him. But now I’m also feeling the guilt of all the kids.”

Besides Mason, who is 14, and Rocky, now 8 months, Kourtney is also mom to daughter Penelope, 12, and son Reign, 9, both shared with Scott. She is also stepmom to Travis’s children—Landon, 20, Alabama, 18, and Atiana de la Hoya, 25, whom Travis has helped raise.

“I have kids all different age ranges—preteen, teenage, adults, infant—so I really do try to set aside one-on-one time with each of my kids,” Kourtney shared. “I don’t want to miss anything. It’s like a feeling of being pulled in different directions, wanting to be everything to everyone.”

Mason, who was featured on the family’s first reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” with his birth airing in 2009, has stayed out of the spotlight in recent years. He has opted not to appear on “The Kardashians” or even his mother’s 2022 Hulu wedding special with Travis. In December 2023, Mason was seen in a rare family photo posted by his aunt, Kim Kardashian. He made his debut on Instagram in May, but his social media updates are sparse, with some fans comparing him to his uncle, Rob Kardashian.

Mason’s younger siblings, Penelope and Reign, have appeared on the family’s Hulu show “The Kardashians” and their parents’ social media accounts. In this week’s episode, Kourtney shared with Kim that she was struggling to get Mason to join the family on tour with Travis and Blink-182 in Australia. Mason wanted to spend time with his friends instead, which Kourtney found difficult.

“Mason isn’t wanting to come because he’s a teenager and wants to be with his friends and his dad, and I don’t want to not see him,” Kourtney shared.

New episodes of “The Kardashians” stream Thursdays on Hulu.
