Lainey Wilson Stuns in Red Crop Top and Trousers at 2024 Africa Outreach Event

Lainey Wilson turned heads at the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project 2024 Block Party with her stunning appearance. The 32-year-old country singer, known for her hit “Watermelon Moonshine,” looked radiant in a sleeveless red crop top paired with matching trousers. Complementing her outfit, Wilson wore a trendy brown belt that accentuated her slim waist.

Completing her look, Wilson donned an oversized cowboy hat, which matched perfectly with her loose blonde locks. Her accessories were kept chic and simple with a thick bracelet and a matching silver ring. Her makeup was understated yet elegant, emphasizing her pink cheeks and full pout.

The event, which took place at Universal Studios Backlot in Universal City, California, attracted other notable celebrities like Charlize Theron, Lee Isaac Chung, Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Patrick Crowley.

According to the event’s website, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project aims to support transformative, community-based change by partnering with organizations that focus on youth, sexual and reproductive health rights, and gender-based violence prevention. Theron, 48, elaborated on the site, saying, “Real lasting change comes from the communities themselves.”

Since its inception in 2007, the program has partnered with 16 organizations across South Africa, Zambia, and Rwanda, reaching nearly 590,000 young individuals. To date, they have awarded over $13 million in grants to underprivileged students.

Wilson’s career continues to soar as she is currently on her “Country’s Cool Again Tour,” which began in late May this year and will continue through December across North America. The Louisiana native first released an album in 2014 and has since garnered a Grammy Award and six Academy of Country Music Awards. Reflecting on her journey, Wilson told The Advocate in 2021, “Country music for me and my family, it was more than music. We lived the words to those songs.”
