LaKeith Stanfield Joins Jennifer Lawrence in Lynne Ramsay’s ‘Die, My Love’

EXCLUSIVE: LaKeith Stanfield is in final negotiations to star opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson in the thriller Die, My Love, which Lynne Ramsay is directing. Ramsay also co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh.

Set in a remote, forgotten rural area, the story follows a mother who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis. It is unknown who Stanfield would play.

Justine Ciarrocchi and Lawrence (through their Excellent Cadaver banner), Martin Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood and Black Label Media are producing the film. Black Label Media is also financing the project.

Stanfield continues to diversify his roles as he remains one of Hollywood’s busiest stars. He was most recently seen in Sony and Legendary’s The Book of Clarence as well as Disney’s The Haunted Mansion. On the TV side, he starred in and executive produced the Apple TV+ drama The Changeling.

In 2021, Stanfield was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah. Upcoming projects include Play Dirty alongside Mark Wahlberg, Dermot Mulroney, and Tony Shalhoub; starring in and producing the film adaptation of El Paso, Elsewhere; and lending his voice to the documentary Ernest Cole: Lost and Found.

Stanfield recently joined the ensemble of Bernard Rose’s Lear Rex. He is represented by CAA and Stark Management.
