A 46-year-old Laos-born immigrant battling cancer in Oregon, USA, has won a whopping $1.3 billion on the Powerball lottery game. Cheng Saephan opted for a lump sum of $422 million after taxes, to share with his wife and a friend. He expressed gratitude, saying he can now bless his family and afford better medical care. Despite undergoing chemotherapy for eight years, Saephan plans to buy a dream house and continue playing Powerball. The game’s prize money has increased due to higher ticket prices and updated rules, making winning more difficult.
