Larry Webb admits to killing Susan and Natasha Carter in a 2000 cold case murder

A dying man in West Virginia confessed to killing a mother and her 10-year-old daughter 24 years ago and led investigators to their bodies. Larry Webb, 82, admitted to shooting Susan Carter and Natasha “Alex” Carter in 2000 and burying them on his property. Their remains were found after Webb’s death. Webb claimed he killed Susan over money, and then shot Alex to eliminate witnesses. He was indicted for Alex’s murder in 2023 after investigators found evidence in his home. The victims’ bodies were finally found, bringing closure to the case for Alex’s father after a custody battle with Susan.
