Rhona Graff, Trump’s former executive assistant, testified as the second witness in his criminal trial in New York. She served as his confidant and gatekeeper from the late 1980s until he became president in 2017. Graff handled his calls and schedule, interacting with people in and out of meetings at Trump Tower. Prosecutors will ask her to verify documents as exhibits in the trial. Previously, former National Enquirer publisher Donald Pecker testified about a “catch and kill” scheme to protect damaging stories about Trump during the 2016 campaign. Trump denies the allegations and pleaded not guilty to falsifying business records related to payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
