Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird is moving on from her marriage to Josh Efird. The “Mama June” star has a new beau, Darrin Kitchens. Now, more details about Darrin’s past relationships have emerged.

Darrin Kitchens, like Pumpkin, has been through divorce. Surprisingly, he has divorced the same woman, Shannon, three times between 2020 and 2024. One of their splits was due to Darrin’s affair with another woman.

In 2022, Darrin was expecting a baby with another woman named Leann Reynolds. They got engaged but never married. Darrin then reconciled with Shannon. However, they filed for divorce again this year, coinciding with the news of Darrin’s relationship with Lauryn Efird.

Pumpkin introduced Darrin to her fans on Facebook recently, following the public announcement of her divorce from Josh Efird. She posted a photo with Darrin before attending a Zach Bryan concert. In the picture, Pumpkin wore tight blue jeans and a see-through top, while Darrin wore a black collared shirt and blue jeans.

On August 2, Pumpkin filed for divorce from Josh after six years of marriage. Court documents state the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” The couple reached a settlement that required neither to pay alimony. Pumpkin gained ownership of their home in Georgia, while Josh had 60 days to vacate the property.

They agreed to share joint custody of their four children and to split medical expenses and school activities costs. Lauryn and Josh’s children include Ella, 7, Bentley, 4, and twins Sylus and Stella, 2. The couple also had custody of Lauryn’s youngest sister, Alana Thompson, known as Honey Boo Boo, since 2022.

Fans were surprised by the news of Lauryn and Josh’s divorce, as they seemed united on TV, especially against Mama June Shannon. They were also shown dealing with Anna Cardwell’s passing together. Given the speed of events, some speculated it might be a television stunt. However, it appears both Pumpkin and Josh are genuinely moving forward with their lives.

Josh has also started dating again, but he has kept his new relationship with a woman named Keely quieter. Despite their marriage ending, Josh and Lauryn remain on friendly terms throughout the entire process.
