Man arrested after kicking bison during Yellowstone trip

A man who kicked a bison in Yellowstone National Park was then injured by one of the animals. Park rangers arrested him after he was treated for minor injuries. The incident occurred when rangers received a call about the man harassing a bison herd. The man was charged with being under the influence of alcohol, disorderly conduct, and disturbing wildlife. His companion was also charged for driving under the influence. Both pleaded not guilty in court. Yellowstone officials remind visitors to stay at least 25 yards away from large wildlife to prevent such incidents. Bison in the park can reach speeds of up to 40 mph.
