Man charged with Mexico surfer deaths allegedly confessed to girlfriend, court hears

A man facing court over the disappearance of three tourists in Mexico confessed to killing them, according to officials. The Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their American friend Jack Carter Rhoad disappeared near Ensenada. Their bodies were found with gunshot wounds to the head in a cliffside well. The suspect, known as “El Kekas”, has been charged with kidnapping, and murder charges are expected. His girlfriend and another man have been detained for their suspected involvement. The killings have caused fear and anger in Baja California, known for its surfing conditions and attracting tourists from California.
