In northwest Miami-Dade, a man was shot following a car crash on Sunday, as reported by the police. The incident occurred at the intersection of NW 36th Street and NW 32nd Avenue, resulting in an argument between the drivers. One of them then pulled out a firearm and shot the other.
Eye-witness Carl Smith, who resides nearby, recounted hearing six gunshots and rushing to the scene. He described seeing the injured man lying on the ground. Smith, a long-time resident of the area, noted an increase in violence since a bar opened on the street corner.
Smith expressed his concerns stating, “At least once or twice a month, there’s a shooting out here. It used to be a really good neighborhood.” Unfortunately, the man who was shot was initially in stable condition but later succumbed to his injuries, according to the Miami-Dade police.
Authorities confirmed the arrest of a suspect in connection with the shooting in southwest Miami-Dade County.
