The suspect involved in a shooting with officers outside a Walmart in Easley, South Carolina, has died, as reported by the Pickens County Coroner’s Office. The incident took place on a Sunday evening, with Easley police responding to a shooting involving officers. Fortunately, all officers were unharmed. The suspect, identified as Shawn Elrod, 33, of Easley, died in the incident. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division also responded to the scene, as standard procedure when officers are involved in a shooting.
